I was a neighbour of the Johannes family and remember when they built their house on Mary Ave! Ed was always busy working on his property. He was a nice, friendly man who was easy to talk to. I saw him many times at the local Tim Hortons. I am sorry that he had such a hard time. My condolences to Mary, Nancy, and all the family.

Bob and Nancy and Mary and family. I am sorry to hear of Ed’s passing. I would always smile when I knew hr was coming into the clinic because I knew a genuine smile was coming my way. He was a favorite of mine and in my job you aren’t supposed to have favorites but I couldn’t help it. He was such a special man that I have a huge amount of respect for. I love you Ed and may you walk in gentle peace. My heart is with you all during this hard time. Bless you all. Jenn from Byron Family Medical.
