Obituary

TANTON, Carol Ann (nee Goodrich)….

Peacefully with family by her side on May 26, 2017 at the age of 58. Predeceased by her loving husband Bob (2010). Treasured mother of Sabrina (Adam) Poirier, Alex Tanton and Victoria Tanton. Adored grandmother of Mila and Katherine. Predeceased by her parents Rhoden and Stephanie Goodrich. Cherished sister of Grant Goodrich and Nancy (Peter) Sheppard. Carol will also be missed by many other family and friends. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, where the service will be conducted in the chapel on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 1 pm. Cremation to follow.     Carol and I went to public and high school together. She also lived on my childhood street, on Westmorland Place. She was always the “tall” friend of our group. A really kind and gentle soul and a very good friend. We spent a lot of weekends with her dad, and our friends, at his farm south of London. She loved horses. My sincerest condolences to Grant and Nancy as well as her entire family.

    Grant and Nancy thinking of you both during this sad time . I have many fond memories of us all especially at your Dad’s farm. Carol was always lots of fun and so kind . RIP Carol
