Dear Family of Virginia, this very lovely special lady will be missed for sure, by all who knew her. With heart-felt condolences, and God’s blessings to you all. Sincerely,
Lori and John Read and family, (Erik, Jennie and Kimberley).
Please accept our sincere and heart felt condolences for the passing of your mom Virginia. Ted, I never had the privilege of getting to know Virginia personally, but I witnessed her warm smile and sense of awareness as I viewed her sitting at her usual spot at Colborne St. United. I had the good fortune of being able to view her from my usual spot in the choir loft. Colborne will miss her dearly. God’s peace and love!
Ted and family: What a beautiful picture! And a beautiful person. It is not easy losing a parent, but mothers are always special Dave and June Wenn.
I was so sorry, Ted, to hear of your mom’s passing. She was a lovely lady and will be dearly missed.
To Ted and the Murphy Family –
I was saddened to read Sonja’s e-mail about your mother. Her passing leaves a huge hole in the fabric of your family. May your memories of her carry you through this time. My thoughts and sympathies.
Nancy,
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to each & everyone in your family. Sweet Virginia was a very special woman & I know she was the heart & soul of the Murphy clan. A very caring woman with such a huge heart, your Mom often put others needs before her own….Volunteer Extraordinaire!
Cherish the memories as she smiles down & continues to live in your hearts. Don’t cry because it is over, but smile because you were blessed with so many unforgettable years!
With much love,
Lorrie, Courtney, Madison & family
I am so saddened to learn of Virginia’s passing. Virginia started volunteering at St Paul’s Daily Bread the week after she retired from Grace Villa and faithfully continued until a few weeks before Christmas. During my 17 years as Director of Daily Bread we became very good friends and continued to stay in touch after my retirement four years ago, enjoying visits and lunches together. We always remembered each other’s birthdays and Virginia sent the most hilarious birthday cards – I will think of her often with love.
My deepest sympathy to the family. Virginia was a beautiful lady . She & my husband Gord volunteered together every Wednesday at the food bank at St. Paul’s Cathedral for several years. Gord loved her sense of humour & the three of us became great friends. I am so glad that I talked to your Mom just before Christmas.
nancy and ted; the hodgins family would like to say what a wonderful woman and dear neighbour your mom was. she won’t be forgotten! take good care of yourselves.
Sending my thoughts and prayers to you Nancy. I will keep you and your Mum in my heart.
Virginia Murphy was a great lady. She was a role model to me. All at once she was a humble lady of integrity while being a professional lady with a great wonderful sense of humour which stood her in good stead in the crazy things life put in her way. She will be with me always like a little inspiring angel on my shoulder. This is a very good and accurate picture of her and I was with her just 2 weeks before she passed.
