Harry was such a gentle man who loved to share his faith through song. I truly am blessed as I recall accompanying him in services. Working together to prepare for worship and during performances have been such a blessing to me. It was a joy & honour to celebrate his 80th with his family. Now I treasure the gift or his CD To God Be The Glory even more. What a gift he gave Evelyn by providing care for her in her years of need. He is a great example to us. Deep sympathy to all Harry’s family in your great loss.
I remember Harry as one of the finest gentlemen I came across in life. He was always cheerful and that was one is greatest assets.
Our deepest sympathies to Paul,
Paula and your family.

Dear Paul, Raymond and all. Harry was a great friend with a rich Irish tenor voice. He used this gift to sing to God’s glory for many years. Harry was a humble man, a caring father, respected neighbour, who cared lovingly & faithfully for his dear wife, Evelyn, before her death. We enjoyed many visits with Harry over the years and since his surgery a couple of years ago. It was our delight to live just part way down the block from Paul and Paula for several years. It has been our privilege to have known and been blessed by Harry and his family over the years. We are continuing to pray for the Wood family as they miss Harry. How thankful we all are that we have the assurance that he has a new body and enjoying a life of worship of our wonderful Lord in heaven. Psalm 116:15; Rev. 14:13. We are
praying for each of you in your grief and miss him.
How we wish we could join you tomorrow for visitation and the service. We have a specialists appointment, made about a year ago that we were not able to change.
Blessings on each of you,
Gerry and Carol Brock
I have many fond memories of Harry during our shared times at Wortley Baptist Church in the mid 1970’s. Harry was a ‘class act’, who always had an encouraging word and gentle guidance for those of us in College and Careers. His beautiful voice spoke to the hearts of many. Our hope is found in Christ alone, may he comfort Harrys’ family during this time.
