BAKELAAR, Shirley Adelaide …
Peacefully, at the Village of Glendale Crossing on Sunday, May 20, 2018, Shirley Adelaide Bakelaar passed away in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Peter Leonard Bakelaar. Cherished mother of Brenda Bakelaar of London. Also survived by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Neil Bakelaar of Listowel, John Bakelaar and his wife Paulette of Dorchester, Janet Bakelaar of Hudsonville, Michigan and her cousins Fran McLean of Goderich, Fay and Bob Goodwin of Niagara-on-the-Lake, David and Patti Brereton of Goderich and survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister-in-law Alice Bakelaar and Bill McLean. Friends will be received by the family one-hour prior (10-11 am) to the funeral service, being held at Chalmers Presbyterian Church, 342 Pond Mills Road, London, ON N5Z 3X5, on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 11 am with Reverend John Bannerman officiating. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London.
