Surrounded by family, on Friday, November 2, 2018 at Victoria Hospital, London, Raymond “Linky” Wong passed away at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Mavis Wong for 49 years. Dear father of Beverley Urquhart, Morette Wong, Gail Raynor (lvan) and Alwyn Wong. Grandfather of Haley Lucas, Jamila Raynor, Kimberley Lucas and Savannah Raynor. Survived by his siblings Bridget Ali and Philip Wong. Uncle and mentor to many. “Dad” to Toby. Son of the late Hubert and Valerie Wong. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters. Raymond was a brilliant thinker, sports and politics enthusiast, loyal and generous friend. Raymond was a soccer coach in London for many years and helped with worthwhile causes. Friends and family are welcomed for visiting on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home (60 Ridout Street South, London). Visitation is from 12-1pm, prior to the funeral service being conducted in the chapel at 1pm. lnterment in Woodland Cemetery, London. Morette, I always remember your Dad as being quiet, kind and a gentle soul right from when I first met him back when you & I were in high school. I know he will be greatly missed by all those who had been blessed to met and know him. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Mrs. Wong, Gail, Alwyn and Toby.
