Obituary
ADAMS, Kim…
On Thursday, June 13, 2019, after a two-year battle with lung cancer, which she fought courageously with a smile on her face (most days), Kim said her final goodnight to her hubby and children and was brought home by her parents Deenie (2008) and Larry (1998). She felt lucky that she met and spent the last 14 years with her soulmate, Roger. She loved her friends fiercely and her family even more so and found the greatest joy in life’s simple pleasures as well as others happiness.
Kim will be missed dearly by her Best Friend and Hubby Roger Snell. She was the proud and courageous mom of Jessica Rattray (Travis), Amy Arnold and Alicia Landriault (Tyler) and second mom of Shawn, Cassarah (Grant) and Jeremy and THE BEST GRANDMA EVER to Parker and Hudson. Loving big sister of Laurie Adams (Will) and Crystal Adams (Ralph). Fun and caring aunt of Mickey, Sean and Alex. She will also be missed by her aunt Grace Moore and her cousin Len Moore (Deb).
Family and friends are invited for visiting at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London on Sunday, June 16, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and on Monday, June 17, 2019 from 12-1 pm. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Monday at 1 pm in the funeral home chapel. For Kim’s love of children, donations in her memory may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, 207-551 Oxford Street West, London, ON N6H 0H9. My Heart goes out to my girl Alice
And her Family. I never got to meet
This Beautiful Lady. My prayers?? are wirh you all.
Some say, “less is more”, or “big things come in small packages”, and in Kim’s case that’s absolutely true. She was taken from us far too soon, but in the short time we had with her, the impact she had on our lives was enormous.
Her generosity inspired me. She was always so thoughtful and selfless, she never left anybody out, and she never forgot a birthday. She looked after the people that she loved, and there were many, and she always made time, even when she knew her time was running out.
She may not have beat cancer, but she will survive it in our hearts. For all that she’s done for us, and all that she’s given, our memory of her will remain her most precious gift. Unique to each of us, but collectively, they intertwine to paint a beautiful picture. A picture that embodies all that she was, and now, all that remains. I make a promise to share and cherish those memory’s for as long as I’m able, to share them with my children, and their children after. Rest in peace, Kim. We will miss you.
Sincerest condlences to you and your family.
