WELBOURNE, Donald Lawrence…

Peacefully on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Don Welbourne in his 56th year. Dear son of Harold and Elayne Welbourne. Loving and cherished father of Zoe and Abigail Welbourne. Will be missed by April Welbourne. Dear brother of Mary-Elayne (Welbourne) Michniewicz and her husband Edward, Paddee (Welbourne) Forsey and her husband Craig all of London, Andrew Welbourne and his wife Mar of Mexico. Also missed by his nieces and nephew Sara, David, Madeline, Julia, Nicole and Alison. Family friend to Jim and Nancy Gruber. The family would like to thank Dr. Parent, Dr. Sanatani, Julie, and all the staff at LHSC and St. Joseph’s Hospice for their wonderful care and compassion. Also, a special thanks to Don’s good friend Father Pio. Guests will be received by the family at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London on Thursday, July 18, 2019 from 6-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 377 Oakland Avenue, London, on Friday, July 19, 2019 at 11 am. Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery, London. Donations in Don’s memory may be made to the London Regional Cancer Program, 747 Baseline Road East, London, ON N6C 2R6 or to St. Joseph’s Hospice, 485 Windermere Road, London, ON N5X 2T1.     So sorry for your loss Elayne. I know what it is like to lose a child.
