Our condolences on the loss of a father and husband. Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you.
A long time neighbor of Fred’s (aka Mayor of Ardaven Place), one of my fondest memories was watching him zip up a ladder (immediately after Jean stepped out) to tar his dormer! That was not long ago!
I’ll miss Fred’s sense of humor, wit, his words of wisdom, and the kindness Fred, and Jean always showed our kids. We lost a great neighbor, and a greater man!
Our thoughts are with you. So many memories of our families together.
Mom and Aunt Jean chatting away, Dad and Uncle Fred on the golf course. They’re probably on a course right now.
My deepest sympathies to the Knowles Family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Remembering You in Your Loss.
There’s little we can do or say right now, please know that our hearts & thoughts are with you in your time of sorrow.
Fred and Jean and I were neighbours for many years. A few steps away. I went to Fred for advice on any projects I was working on for my beloved old house. Fred always knew what to do. Also advice about my car. And Fred coming to me when my cat’s paw prints were on his car! I was sitting on my porch on the blistering hot summer day when Fred was on his roof and fell onto the cement driveway. So many memories. I’m sure I felt safe on our street because Fred was there. A salt-of-the-earth good guy. They don’t make ’em like that anymore.
Dear Jean:
Jim and I want to say how sorry we that you have lost your beloved Fred and life partner. We truly enjoyed the special times we spent with you both. You are in our prayers and we send our love to you. Fred will be truly missed.
Dear Dennis and Karen, Sending our sincere condolences in your loss.
Fred and I had been neighbours for many years. Our family has lived on Ardaven Place for 9+ yrs. Most days we would see Fred and Jean on their way up and down the street. Always such a friendly guy. He loved to stop and chat or share a funny story.
We are very saddened to hear of his passing.
