Beloved wife of the late Noble Harvey Stevenson (2004). Predeceased by sisters Doreen Kidd (2017) and Doris Bradley (2017). Survived by sisters Betty Brawley and Ruth Hooker. Much loved matriarch of a large group of descendants – children John (Bev), Lynn MacKenzie (Ken), and Paul (Lisa) – grandchildren Luke (Lisa), Ellen (Etienne), Katie (Justin), Heather (Andy), Steven (Jen), Andrew, Tyler, and Haley – great-grandchildren Caleb, Owen, Analia, Felix, Noah, Emilie, Esme, Darcy, and Quinn. John, Lynn and Stevenson family,
My condolences to you with the passing of your mother. Velma was such a sweet, kind, generous and thoughtful person. I’m sure that the people in Sumac Lodge loved her as much as they did in Richmond Woods. John and Lynn, it was so wonderful to get to know you and see the care you gave your mom. It was always a highlight to chat with you when you came in. I pray that God will be with you as you adjust to life without your mom and for strength in the days ahead.
