Such a kind, wonderful, caring lady, “Grandma Linda”

Karen, George and Riley
Sorry for your loss. I met Linda a couple of times through Tommy Parker. She came to Nova Scotia with Tommy to visit The Williams relatives and then I had the pleasure of going to Godridge and meeting her there
Tim, Liam, so very sorry to learn of your Mom and Grandma Linda’s passing. Our sincere condolences to you and the entire Mickle family.
Karen, George and Riley
I knew Linda as Tommy was my brother-in-law . I met her for the first time many years ago when they made a trip to NS to visit relatives .
Since then I have visited Goderich several times . Linda and I chatted on the phone , used e-mail and messenger on our IPads to keep in touch .
We spend winters in BC to ski and one of the joys of the drive would be to see Tommy and Linda , and then just Linda , in the Fall to drop off Christmas baking and treats . She enjoyed the chocolate almond bark and fruitcakes so much . We would chuckle later regarding how she rationed the baked treats .
She and I always talked and shared recipes . One of her chicken dishes has been enjoyed by many of my friends . It was a joke between us when I would be having company in for dinner that I would be serving “Linda’s Chicken “ .
Linda was a wonderful , warm , good person . She was so positive and caring of others despite how she herself may have been feeling .
You were blessed to have had her in your life . My condolences to you on her passing . You are in my prayers and thoughts .
Tim, Liam and family. So sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. I knew her as a very kind and gentle lady.
My condolences to all.

Sorry for your loss
To all of Linda’s family, we are so sorry for your loss. Linda had been an extended part of our family for almost 24 years as a partner to Tom and “Grandma” to the children. She came into our lives when she and Tom found each other through fate, it would seem. Their friendship turned to love and their new adventures began, including much travel. The Parker families were blessed to have known Linda, and loved her as much as she loved us. She will be missed greatly.
For many years our family shared visits with Linda during cottage season in Bluewater Beach, Goderich Ontario. Along with her, Tom Parker and our Mother; Dora Telfer friendships were rekindled each year. Our thoughts are with the family as you share your memories at this time.
With our deepest sympathy the Telfer Family
Doreen, Judy, Susan and Rosalie along with our extended family members
To the entire Mickle family we send our deepest sympathy. Linda has been a special friend for many years. We knew Tom and through him we met Linda. We enjoyed many enjoyable interactions with them over the years. Linda was a warm, friendly and compassionate lady. We are going to miss her more than words can say.
