FURTAH, Linda (nee Paul)…
April 30, 1947 – September 13, 2020
Unexpectedly at Victoria Hospital, London, Linda Furtah in her 74th year. Predeceased by her husband “Bud” Furtah (2010), brother Ross Paul and sister Joanne Congdon. Survived by her sisters Carol Cavanagh and Vicki Horley. She will sadly be missed by her partner Lloyd Kemp, and her furr babies Capone and Mittons. Linda spent many years working in the insurance industry. She loved to travel, going to craft shows, the casino and to play card games, especially Cribbage. Every Christmas Eve day, Linda had an open house for her family and extended family and friends, of which there were many. She will truly be missed by all. Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service to take place on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Woodland Cemetery, London. Donation’s in memory of Linda may be made to the Humane Society London & Middlesex, 624 Clarke Road, London, ON N5V 3K5, or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, 180-633 Colborne Street, London, ON N6B 2V3. Linda was a true friend. She was always willing to share and help in any way she could. I will miss her kindness and her laugh deeply. Christmas will just not be the same without her open house.
I’d like to extend my most sincere condolences to Lloyd, Karen and Linda’s family at this very sad time. Linda was a great cribbage player and I’ll always remember her fondly. RIP Linda
