To Dave, Paul, Steve and families,
On behalf of the Bell family I extend to you our deepest sympathies on the passing of your Mom and grandmother.
Our mothers were card playing buddies going way back, among other associations with the Rowe family.
The picture you have chosen captures your Mom’s spirit so well.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Andrea
Your mother Joan, a lovely person and so gracious and kind to everyone. Her smile lit up the sanctuary at Wesley-Knox. I will miss talking to her. With sincere condolences Debbi Jarvis,
We are so sorry to hear the passing of your mom. We are thinking of you and your family during this sad time.
We have so many happy memories of Joan – poolside visits, Christmas Eve get togethers eating Chinese food, birthday celebrations, card games, visits to Adare Crescent, her apartment and Royalcliffe…… a lifetime of great times. She certainly made us feel like family. She will once again be enjoying some card games with the old crew up in Heaven. Condolences to those she has left here. XO
Steve, Paul, Dave and families.
So sorry to learn of your mom’s passing. Joan was always fun to talk with and had a real sparkle about her. May your memories of her bring a smile to your face and be a source of comfort to all of you in the days ahead.

Dave, Linda and family.
My sincerest condolences on your loss and regret the pandemic has prevented family and friends from getting together to honour and celebrate a life well lived.

Dave, Paul, Steve and family. What a great lady your mom was! I always found her inspiring because of her no-nonsense and matter-of-fact approach to things. I guess raising three boys would require that! She would say what she thought which was so refreshing. We had great conversations about family history. She was one of the few in the family who had a genuine interest in that. That last time I saw her was at Kathy’s when I came for a visit with Mom. Before that it was when she came to Vancouver in 2010. The thing about family is that it doesn’t matter how long you go in between – it’s like you’ve been around each other all along.
I wish you all the best. Love Nancy
