COURTNEY, Lois…

Peacefully at Victoria Hospital, London, on Friday, July 16, 2021, Lois Courtney passed away in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late John “Jack” Courtney. Loving mother of Candyce Jones and her husband David of Winnipeg, James Courtney and his wife Anne of London and Laurel Shaw of Huntsville. Also missed by her grandchildren Stephen (Shannon), Michael (Cindy), Nicole (Mike) and Kimberly (Adam) and by great-grandchildren Graham, Sawyer, Dana and Robert. Predeceased by her sister Elaine Bourke. Lois was grateful for the excellent care she received in her final years in the Veterans Care Program at Parkwood Hospital, London. The family would like to thank the staff for their skill, kindness and compassion. A private family graveside service has taken place at St. Andrew’s-St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations in Lois’ name may be made to the MS Society of Canada (head office), 500-250 Dundas Street West, Toronto, ON M5T 2Z5. Arrangements entrusted with A.
