Journey Through Loss

Journey Through Loss offers a free of charge, local bereavement support group open to all who have experienced the loss of a loved one. For 17 years, A. Millard George Funeral Home hosted the weekly sessions, and as of August 28, 2025 the meetings have relocated to a new facility. Meetings take place every Thursday from 4:30-6:00 pm. The weekly group is professionally facilitated and provides a safe, welcoming space to share experiences, issues or concerns. Emphasis is placed on community building, storytelling, and mutual support, with no expectations or requirements placed on how grief should be expressed.
