Elliott was a long time friend and neighbour first to my parents, Lorna and Charlie Tandy , then to our sons, then to Dave and I as we all lived across from him at 762 Wilkins since 1976 .
He would come over and tell us jokes and I would often sit with him and hear stories of his amazing life and careeer! He was a gentle, kind , friendly man who I grew to love over the years ?? He will be missed at Village on the Green , Wilkins St .
Condolences to his family .
Elliott was a friend and neighbor for 30 years to myself and my wife Wendy Robertson. We shared many conversations, cups of tea and coffee, not to mention more than a few glasses of wine. He didn’t feel it necessary to knock at the door but would simply come in on a whim. There are far too many stories to share here, but suffice it to say that he was an exceptional man and he will be very much missed.
RIP Elliott.
We are so sorry for your loss. We will miss his laugh and stories.
No words to describe the legend that was our Uncle Elliott, many stories, some true, some apocryphal that have come down through the generations. He will be greatly missed.
We deeply regret the passing of Elliott, our dear neighbor and friend. We’ll miss his strong and cheerful personality. May he now remain in a better place with loved ones who preceded him. Our condolences to his dear family.
My sincerest condolences to Jeff, Shahla and kids. I met Elliott twice only. He was a great kind man. Special condolences to Shahla as she treated him better than her own father during past couple of years. Wish your family peace and comfort during this difficult time.
Remember Elliott from distant youth, coming home from Bishop Foy School riding his bike backwards! Friend and neighbour of his brother, the late Robbie, and his wife Pam at Ardkeen, Waterford! God rest them all!
So sad to hear this news today.
Elliott was such an interesting man. So knowledgeable about so many things.
He taught me how to chip, using a ‘Pendulum’ style swing for short range chips around the greens!
Although it has been many years since I saw him with Aunt Ellen, I have often thought about him.
Oh so sorry to hear- Very sad- Elliott was a great guy and we will miss him! May he rest in peace.
