MULHEARON, James….

Quietly and peacefully, James Mulhearon passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at the age of 88.

Born and raised in Leith, Scotland, James enjoyed growing up in Edinburgh before joining the British Army and stationed in Italy and Sicily. After the army James worked for Universal Exports, and then at a car dealership in Edinburgh before moving to Canada with his late and caring wife, Moira.

Upon coming to Canada, James’ first job in London was working delivering pizza for Vito’s Pizza which always brought happy memories, not to mention his love for pizza. From there he worked at Ford Motor Assembly Plant in Talbotville for over 25 years.

James is survived by his sons Ross (Steve), Sean (Monica), and his beautiful and wonderful grandchildren: Paityn, Ethan, and Ewan who always made him smile.

James leaves behind his family in Scotland-Roy (Muriel), Wales-Michaeal (Shirley), Australia-Robert (Judy) and Carol (Greg) and all his cousins, nieces and nephews.

James was predeceased by his parents Bethia & James, and his mother, Florence.

An avid Detroit Lions football fan, James passed his love of the Lions to his son Sean and attended many Lions games in Detroit. As a 007 fan, James loved watching James Bond films with son Ross quoting every line that Bond ever said. And of course, Sean Connery will always be the best Bond.

As the sun sets in the horizons and twilight approaches, James will now be together and reunited with his one true soulmate: the majestic hills of Scotland.

The family would like to thank the dedicated staff at Westmount Gardens for their care and compassion.
