OHLER, Susan May…

1944 – 2026

Peacefully on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Victoria Hospital, London, Ontario, Susan passed away in her 82nd year. Loving wife and soulmate of Mike for 62 years, beloved mother of Michael (Natasha) and cherished Grandma of Rhiannon and Matthew. Loving sister of Mike Biro (Chantal Pierssens) and David Biro, and sister-in-law of Rosina Wolf. Aunt to Rachel Biro, Daniel Biro, Ashly Clark, Grace Lochhead, Erika Csoff and to several great nieces and nephews. Also survived by many cousins in Ontario, BC and the U.S. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Goldie (Gegeny) Biro and her husband Mike (Sept. 2025). Susan was born and raised in Tillsonburg, Ontario, attended both Public and High School, worked in the Tobacco fields and eventually obtained her Dental Assistant Diploma. Susan and Mike spent time living in Toronto, Ontario and eventually moved to London, Ontario to start a family. In her early years, she enjoyed camping and travelling with her family and good friends to many places including Hawaii, Florida, Las Vegas, Michigan, the Caribbean, and trips to Western Canada. Susan was a valued and loyal employee of Dr. Bob Currie (Prosthodontist) for 38 years where she performed office administration, management and dental assisting. “Susie” loved her clothing, flowers (real and in print) and jewellery. Everyone knew her favourite colours were purple, turquoise, cobalt blue and teal and of her fondness for anything with sparkle and bling. The family would like to thank the staff at Inspirit Residence where Susan and Mike were living for the last 4 years. Susan really appreciated new friendships made at their residence.

Cremation has taken place. A small family gathering will be held in September 2026 at Woodland Cemetery, where both Mike and Susan will be interned together.

For many years Susan (and Mike) enjoyed their cats. As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Susan may be made to the Humane Society London & Middlesex or an animal rescue of your choice.
