PARKINS, Hank James…

It is with deep sadness and love that the family of Hank James Parkins announce his sudden passing at the age of 22 in London, Ontario.

He will be fondly remembered by his Parents, Joel Parkins and Tess de Haan. His siblings, Ben, Luke, Levi, and Dave. Step-siblings Morgan, Jesse, and Heather. Step-parents Bryan Mc Donald and Erin Foster. Devoted grandson of Bonnie Parkins and Ena de Haan.

Predeceased by: Grandfathers Lippe de Haan and Bill Parkins, Uncle Benjamin Parkins, Sister Ruby Jean Parkins.

Will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and co-workers.

Hank was compelled to create – drawing, painting, clay sculpture, embroidery, knitting. He was also becoming a proficient cook, guitar player, songwriter, and vocalist. He excelled at everything he tried, and his hobbies allowed him to cross paths with many people, with whom he invariably formed a genuine connection. He made friends easily, with a warm demeanour, strong sense of empathy, and a razor-sharp wit.

He would have started the nursing program at Fanshawe College in September. His compassionate, gentle, and hardworking nature would have made him an excellent caregiver.

He is deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to have known him.

All are welcome for visitation on Thursday, June 4, 2026 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. Cremation to follow.

The family will Celebrate Hank’s Life with a private service.
