Johanna Eugenia Bogaert (nee Vereecken)

Johanna passed away peacefully in the presence of family at Victoria Hospital in London Ontario, Friday, May 15th, 2026. She was 98.

Born in Lamswaarde, The Netherlands, daughter of the late Rudolph and Elodie (Michielsen) Vereecken. Beloved wife of 49 years to late Ernest Bogaert. Loving mother of Rudy (Susan) of Delaware, Louis of London, David (Heather) of London, Tony (Carolyn) of St. Catharines, Mary (the late John) of Melbourne Australia, and Stephen of Toronto. Johanna will also be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Rogan (Jessie), Sean, Taylor (Sara), Alex, Tynan (Ashley), Grace, Ollie and Mac, and by her great-grandchildren, Elodie and Everett. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Antoine Vereecken (Marie) of Chatham. Predeceased by sister Nic Vereecken and brothers Pete, Theo, and Joseph Vereecken.

The Bogaert family will receive friends and family at A. Millard George Funeral Home on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 1:00pm – 4:00pm.
