ROUWEN, June Yvonne…

It is with heavy hearts, profound sadness and deep love that we announce the passing of June Yvonne Rouwen, who left this world on February 8, 2026, at 2:18a.m. EST.

June was a woman whose love anchored her family and whose presence brought comfort to everyone fortunate enough to know her. She carried a quiet strength and generous heart.

Daughter of the late Armand Dacosta and Frieda Dacosta, June is survived by her loving husband Robert Rouwen, her daughters, Genevra Cemovic and Josiann Rodrigues, her cherished grandchildren, Estrella Cemovic, Dimitri Cemovic, Matthew Cemovic and Jupiter Johnston, her sister, Janet Almeida Coutinho, her nieces, Reesha da Costa and Radhina Hatcher, her son-in-law Dushan Cemovic, her brothers-in-law Hans Rouwen and Ivo Almeida Coutinho, all of whom will carry forward her memory with gratitude and enduring love. Predeceased by her parents-in-law Albertus Rouwen and Johanna Everdina Rouwen.

Though their hearts are heavy, they are strengthened by the countless moments of laughter, wisdom, selflessness and tenderness she gave them.

She will be deeply missed, always loved and never forgotten.

A private viewing was held on February 10, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at A. Millard George Funeral Home, London, Ontario. The Cremation was held on February 10, 2026 at 12:30 p.m. at Woodland Cemetery, Mausoleum and Crematorium in London, Ontario.

A Memorial mass for June’s family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. Eastern at:
