Obituary
Hodak, Ante “Tony”
Unexpectedly, but peacefully with family by his side, Ante “Tony” Hodak passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025 at Victoria Hospital, London, in his 81st year.
Beloved husband of Linda Wood for 23 years. Loving Father to Peter (Caulene) and Joe (Mandi), stepchildren Angela (Richard) and Mark. Cherished grandfather to Jonathan (Maria), McKinlie (Josh), Sarah (Isiah), Chase, Kaitlyn, Hunter, Joshua, Jacob, Kailee (Spencer), Faye and Zoey also all his great-grandchildren. Dear brother to Ivan, Katrina, Miel, Josip, Marica, Drago, Rozalia, Jelena and Mato.
He will be missed by many extended family members and friends. He was a beloved father that was always there for his sons and all his grandchildren. A very hard-working man that loved to play and teach sports to his sons and grandchildren. He loved to spend time with taking his grandchildren to play golf and when they got older to play bingo. In his spare time, he loved to watch sports on tv and going to play cards, bingo, golfing and bowling. You’ll be forever in our hearts and will be deeply missed and loved forever.
Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. The Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday November 13, 2025, at 10:00 am at St. Justin’s Catholic Church, 855 Jalna Boulevard, London. My thoughts are with you and your family. Tony will be missed by all those with whom he played cards. His smile, his smirk when he knew he had you euchred and his sometimes crazy bidding will all be missed. Rest in peace my friend.
It is a VERY SAD DAY to read this obituary of a very dear friend Tony. Gary and I ( Bev) had known Tony for over 25 years. Many many card games of euchre and 5 hand pepper. Gary & Tony had a TON OF LAUGHS. He will be missed by many. We are so sorry for your loss.
