Shirley, and all of Joe’s family:
I was so sorry to hear of Joe’s passing. I know he will be greatly missed.
Shirley, I know this past year has been challenging but with your care Joe was able to spend this past year knowing how much he was loved. Take comfort that he’s finally at rest. No more pain and he can breathe easy. Let me know when you are up to a visit.
Love, Susan

I was very sad to learn of Joe’s passing. He was first cousin to my mother Iris in Australia. Even though we had never met, we had stayed in touch over the past 9+ years. My condolences to the family.

Shirley, we are so very sorry to hear of Joe’s passing. You and Joe have been our neighbors for almost 20 years, but mean so much more to us than neighbors! Joe always kept a watchful eye on our house when he knew we weren’t around, he always had a story to tell Steve or I, or the kids. He even shared a big smile and a story to any friends or family that came to visit us, treating them like old friends. Joe was someone who was ‘larger than life’ and it was the joy he found in his life that he was happy to share with others. As generous as he was with his stories, he was also generous sharing his care and concern for others, and his deep love for you Shirley! We are going to miss meeting up in the driveway to share a story, but we hold the joy of hearing so many over the years, close to our heart. Our deepest condolences and loving memories. Steve, Kerri, Kris, Konner & Taylor

Shirley
My sincere and deepest condolences to you and your Family. Joe was a Gem with a crazy sense of humour and a infectious laugh.
I’ve known Joe since I was 14 yrs old. We grew up together and kept in touch after I moved to BC .
One of my fondest memories is when Joe and Kerry came to Vancouver for Expo 86, we then travelled north to Williams Lake to visit my family.
Of course my mother will never forget him and Ron Hilton.
They would never forget her, she would put up with alot of their antics when they would frequently come to the house in London .
My brother Ron and Joes favourite memory was when after a long day of riding, they decided the horse needed a beer break with them . Lol
Joe would always tell me to say Hello to the family from him. My mother Joyce, sister Gail , brother Ron send their condolences.
They are deeply saddened from the news of his passing.
Joe was a Kind, Caring, and Loving person and left a memorable impression to all that he met and knew him.
I will miss you Dearly my Friend
Love Kathy ( Lowry, Matlock) 🦋
Shirley, I was so sorry to see and hear about Joe. I truly liked the man. He would tease me at the counter, make me blush and then laugh out loud. You would just sit patiently on the window ledge, waiting for him to finish ribbing me. Now that I’ve retired from Shoppers, I have often thought of the two of you. I’m smiling even now as I remember him telling me to “hurry up”.
