Sending all our love to Miss Judy’s family. She was an amazing dance teacher and a beautiful soul in this world. She will be thought of often with her beautiful smile and all the time that we spent with her will never be forgotten. Rest in peace Miss Judy we all loved you dearly
Miss Judy 💔 The best dance teacher in the world, a mentor, inspiration, motivator, spunky, quirky, kind, generous, thrifty and overall joy to be around. She made sure everybody and every body shape was always included..a true gem 💎 All the special memories of dance classes, recitals, handmade costumes, Halloween parties, pool parties and heart to heart chats will forever live on in my heart and so many of those she touched with her presence. Miss Judy you gave so much of yourself to better others and lived life to the absolute fullest! You will be greatly missed R.I.P Beautiful Ballerina 🩰
I will forever cherish the times
I had learning dance from her in her studio in Byron. She was always a bright and kind presence in my life as a young girl. I didn’t go on to dance (a fact that would not surprise her as I was never very good!) but I did become a teacher. She has inspired me to approach teaching with joy, empathy, and a little bit of silliness. Her legacy lives on through the generations of students who had the privilege of learning from such a beautiful soul. Rest in peace Miss Judy, you are so missed and so loved 🩰🩷
To Judy’s family,
Our sincere sympathy to all on the passing of your dear Mom and Grandma.
Miss Judy was such a cherished part of our daughters childhood. Both Lisa & Christina started dancing with Judy in the early 1990’s when they were 3. Lisa continued for 15 years to complete her Gold Medal and the highlight of performing the beautiful Sugar Plum Fairy dance.
Miss Judy put her heart and soul into creating a dance studio where all felt welcome, loved and had so much fun while they learned to dance. This photo of your Mom is perfection… it is that smile and her wonderful laugh that are etched in my mind when I remember our beloved Miss Judy. She was a truly beautiful soul and I’m sure she is dancing with the angels now.
May cherished memories bring you peace and comfort during this sad time.

Miss Judy was such an important part of my life starting at age 3 and extending into my adult life. Friday night ballet classes were joyful and safe places to laugh and learn. She was also an important mentor in my life. I am heartbroken to hear this news. All my love to her family.
Miss Judy’s dance classes were one of the few places where a group of girls could spend 13 years growing up together and know they were safe, loved, trusted, and going to be horrified and enamoured by her love of costume sequins. I’ve lived in many cities and countries and taken dance classes in every one of them, but the voice of every teacher is inexplicably Miss Judy’s. Thank you to her family for sharing her with all of us.
The Orchard Family…Paul. Mary, Jen, Ashley and Stacie want to extend our deepest condolences to Judy’s family. We hope all the great memories of Judy will help to heal your hearts. Judy was truly an role model and inspiration to our daughters who danced with Judy for many years. Judy’s laugh, great personality and positive outlook and reinforcement help to shape our young daughters into wonderful young ladies. Our family will be indebted to Judy for everything she did for our kids in a kind and loving environment. She will be missed and I hope she is dancing up there.
Sending sincere sympathy to Miss Judy’s family. She was absolutely lovely! Miss Judy taught her students many life skills in addition to dance. So grateful that my daughter was able to be one of her fortunate students.
Mrs. Walters was my dance teacher when I was a little girl. I have lovely memories of her. My sincere condolences to your entire family.
My fondest memories of Miss Judy are dancing hand in hand with her to “Will You Still Love me Tomorrow” in the basement studio in Byron. I fell in love with dance in that basement and will never forget the confidence she instilled in me at such a young age. Her smile and laugh lit up a room and I hope all of the sweet memories of her comfort you all through this difficult time. She touched so many lives.
