Obituary
ROBERTS, Dorothy Brady…
Dorothy passed away quietly and peacefully at Meadow Park Nursing Home, London, on Sunday, July 30, 2023 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Roy Roberts (2018) for 62 years. Loving mother of Bill Roberts and his wife Bonnie of Appin and Cindy Pisek and her husband Mike of London. Cherished Nanny of Brandice Robertson and her husband Mitch and Kaley Pisek and her husband Rob Sutherland and great-grandmother of Penelope, Preston and Phoenix Robertson, and Wren Sutherland. Predeceased by her parents Agnes and Leonard, and her sister Mary. Dorothy grew up on the farm and was a huge helping hand to her father with the regular chores. After marrying Gerald, she was the true definition of homemaker. She was a fantastic mom, a great cook and even enjoyed cleaning. In her later years, she loved fashion and shopping and always making sure her outfit and appearance were perfectly put together. She had a passion for reading and music, especially playing the piano. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at Meadow Park for their excellent care over the years. Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London. Arrangements entrusted with A. Millard George Funeral Home, 519-433-5184. I remember all the visits from Dorothy and Roy at our parents house in Komoka! Always lots of fun especially when Bill and Bonnie came along. They were truly wonderful people who cared very much about everyone! There are not too many people left from the older senior group, however it will always be the wonderful memories that will keep us going, and moving us forward, as that is all we have left to hold in our hearts!
We were blessed to have the pleasure, and privilege of knowing your parents, Bill and Cindy!
Bill and Bonnie you have always been there for the many, many Fournier projects, and I know Dad thinks of you guys as his children as well! When Mom passed you were both there without question, and I know she loved the both of you
too! I know Dorothy and Roy are proud of all of their families! I can say without a doubt they did an amazing job raising Bill and Cindy!
Know that we are all thinking of you guys and we love you!
If there is anything we can do to help, please let us know!
We are here for you!
