With love and great respect for a lady who was a wonderful friend and neighbour to my parents, Ruby and Al Ballingall, for many years in Mississauga. The Barnhills were both wonderful people. Please accept our sincere sympathies.

Dear Jane and Richard, Sue and I would like to extend our deepest sympathies. At times like this it is important to remember the good times which helps overcome the loss that one has. Our prayers are with you.

Dear Jane and family,
What a shock it was to read in the Star that your mother had passed away. Our sincere and heartfelt sympathy to you and your family.
I had the pleasure of working as your father’s executive secretary when he was the Refinery Manager at Clarkson. Your mother was a very warm, kind and gracious person and I appreciated her making both my husband and I feel at ease at the Manager’s parties and dinners. I had kept in touch with your parents at Christmas and with your mother after your father had passed away in 1999, and by phone the last couple of years when your mother’s arthritis precluded her from writing. She missed your father terribly and feel that she is happy to be with him now.
You were blessed with wonderful parents and hope that the many happy memories of your life with them will help to comfort you during this difficult time.
Jane, I regret that we cannot attend the memorial service but our thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family.
With deepest sympathy,
Sam and Mary

Dear Jane and Richard,
Our thoughts are with you today. We both have many fond memories of your Mom and Dad. Our visit to the cabin in Rawdon and the house on 3rd last weekend brought it all back for Catherine.
Jane, your mother was vibrant and full of spunk and energy. She was the last of the Irish born. We marveled at her interest in history and politics that lasted right to the end.
We will miss the cheerful phone calls and family news.
