ABI-NADER….

At London Health Sciences Centre – Victoria Campus on Friday, February 16, 2007 Samir Abi-Nader of London in his 64th year. Beloved husband of Aida (Kasiss) Abi-Nader. Dear father of Majd Abi-Nader. Dear brother of Elias Abi-Nader of London; Sami Abi-Nader and Guitta Abi-Nader both of Lebanon. Also lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Samir is also remembered by his friends of the Arabic and Canadian Communities. Friends will be received by the family from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. The funeral service will be held at the St. Elias Maronite Catholic Church, 91 Southdale Road East, London on Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at 11:00am. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London.     Aida,
    Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Samir was one of the most caring people I have had the honor of knowing and I am so grateful for the friendship we shared. He was so dedicated to the task of helping you get to Canada and never allowed his frustration to make him give up so you could be with both him and your son. This was his dream and he didn’t give up until he made that dream come true. What an amazing person! I am going to miss him and the bright sunshine he brought to the centre each time he came.

    Aida,
    I am so sorry for your loss, my love and thoughts are with you at this sad time. It was an honour to know Samir for the brief time that I knew him. He will be missed by everyone at Glen Cairn Community Resource Centre.
