When I learned of Beth’s passing it was a combination of surprise and sadness.
She was a friend that I shared time with quilting, and retreats for many years,
We had such fun and shared many laughs over the stories and good times we had .
It’s very hard to realize that our time together is gone now , but the memories will be with me forever ,
She was a wonderful woman, so talented, and kind with the best sense of humour ever.
I loved her and will miss her so much.
Condolences to all her family with love and hugs
We are incredibly sorry to hear of Beth’s passing. We will always remember her beautiful smile, her dedication to helping everyone regardless of the task, and her incredible kindness. She was a wonderful woman who deeply loved her grandchildren and children. We will miss her greatly.
So sorry to hear of Beth’s passing, she certainly fought long and hard! Condolences to her children, grandchildren and friends. As a fellow quilter, I always enjoyed Beth’s stories and we laughed often and hard. Her stories showed just how proud she was of her grandchildren and I was always amazed at her energy and stamina throughout the years. She was a very talented quilter, a wonderfully fun person to be around and I will very much miss her. Rest In Peace my friend!

Beth English is an incredible lady. She was such a loved and appreciated part of the Bishop Townshend/East Carling community. She volunteered her time, weekly (and often daily), supporting students, making crafts for fundraising, working the book fair, trudging through snowy trails on field trips etc etc. Any class show and share, Beth would come not only to celebrate her own grandkids, but also t tho cheer on every child in the entire class. Despite her health challenges, she continued to help others in any way possible. I will miss our conversations about her beautiful grandkids, about her latest quilting project, about Outlander and about life in general. Beth was one in a million. My deepest condolences to her family and friends, and especially to her grandchildren. She loved you to Pluto and back. Xo
It is hard to say goodbye to this wonderful lady. She fought so hard against the cancer. We shared so many laughs over the years. She was always the first to volunteer to help anyone. We have so many memories of being on the Panama Cruise with her, quilting Thursday nights, quilting retreats, helping at the scout food booth on mothers day weekend. She has touched many people with her kindness and thoughtfulness. She will be missed. Our sympathy goes to John and her family
I will never forgot how Beth welcomed me with open arms and treated me like one of the family. Her son Gord is like a brother to me, and I will always treasure the memories of the time I spent with Beth and the rest of the English family over the years. She was an amazing woman who would do anything for her children and grandchildren, and she will be dearly missed. My heartfelt condolences to Gord, Danielle, and the rest of Beth’s family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
I’m most saddened to hear of Beth’s passing, and to discover so late. I was just reaching out to contact Beth because I have photos of Sid that I thought she might wish to see (passed on by my father, Sid’s brother, who died October 8, 2020). My deepest sympathies to Danielle and Gordon, and to your children. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
I was truly shocked to learn of Beth’s death in September. Her late husband Sidney was my brother-in-law, brother of my late husband Doug English. My heartfelt sympathy go out to the family. All the best to you
