Helen Mary Bourke (Davidson)….
Following a long illness, Helen passed away peacefully on Friday, January 6, 2017 at Queen’s Village in London, Ontario. She is predeceased by her loving husband Andrew and son Michael, and by her beloved lab Ashes. Helen happily resided in Oakville, and enjoyed a lengthy career as a nurse in the OTMH nursery. She leaves behind daughter Patricia and son in law Mark McCallum, grand children Kathryn (McCallum) and husband Scott Stewart, Jordan McCallum and great grandson Andrew Stewart. She will be missed by all. No visitation or service will be held. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to A. Millard George Funeral Home, 519-433-5184. Dear Patricia,
I am sorry to hear of Elma’s passing. Our families were so close when you and I were kids and I cherish those memories. I particularly remember the days at the Devonshire and, in more recent years, I would frequently see your mom walking with friends near the hospital. I always recognized her but didn’t think she would know me. She seemed to be very active. I hope life is treating you and your family well and I also offer my condolences on Michael’s death. He and your dad died far too young.
