So sorry Angela and Brent. We loved being around your mom at the reunion and will remember that forever. She was so much fun as it runs in our family! She will be missed and thought of fondly. Lots of love your way.
We were so sorry to hear of Doris’ passing. When I think of her, I always remember her soft-spoken, stable, caring manner that I have seen reflected in Brent’s & Angela’s lives.
I have many fond memories of her welcoming, loving care & concern before and after Brent & I ventured out to see what fish we could catch.
Thank you for your kind nature projected through your life that has touched so many of us.
Sorry for your loss, Hugh. Will be thinking of you.
Dave
Mom and I wish we could be there to share in celebrating Doris’s amazing life but, unfortunately, distance keeps us apart. Please know that Doris was dearly loved and a bright light with a dazzling smile and a zest for adventure.
She set the bar high went it came to family devotion, dedication to her church and community as well as her commitment to things that mattered most.
Please take some comfort in the decades of funny, sweet memories that you have of her as we will do the same. Many of those memories involve the sharing of stories, infectious giggles and happy moments around the kitchen table.
You could not ask for a better sister and aunt. Doris will never be forgotten but always missed. She will live on in our hearts until we meet again.
Love to you all at this very difficult time from sister Kay Bishop and niece Nancy Argyle
Hugh and family, Doris will be dearly missed by all her friends at Compass. She was always an encouragement to me and my family. She truly was a light in this world.
