CHAFEE, Helen Bernice…
Suddenly with her family by her side on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at University Hospital, London, Bernice (Myatt) Chafee in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late James “Ed” Chafee (2003). Cherished mother of William (Victoria) Chafee, Allan (Jo-Ann) Chafee, Donna (Bob) McAuley. Proud grandmother of Shalo, Beau (Cara), Rob (Danielle) and great-grandmother to Bronson, Callum, Leland and Blake. Dear sister of Bob Myatt (late Dorothy), Marion Olmstead (late Bob), Irene Jefferies and Ted Myatt. Also survived by her brother-in-law Harold Marshall and sister-in-law Judy Myatt. Predeceased by her brother Jim Myatt and sister Dorothy Marshall. Bernice will greatly missed by her extended family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family 4-6pm on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Ark Aid Street Mission – Kitchen Fund, 696 Dundas Street, London, ON N5W 2Z4. very sorry to hear of the passing of Bernie. she was a good lady . a real trooper being at the arena every sunday supporting Ed and the entire hockey team.
Donna, Al, Bob and the entire Chafee family, please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of Bernie. I rememeber her well from time spent at the Thamesford arena.
