Gramma will be missed more than she could ever imagine. We all appreciate her love, guidance and support….Can’t imagine the holidays without her.
I am sure you probably wont remember us but we are the Mansveld Family who lived on Gore Rd. We were the two little girls Lynn and Sharon with parents Joanne and Gerry. While our house was being built we lived in the apartment building right behind you that were new at the time. I remember two stories that my Mom told us about your house. One was that my sister and I and our cousin crawled through your milk box when we were little and went into your fridge and poured pickle juice all over the place. The second story, which I can’t remember if it was on the same day or not was, we went through Doreen’s makeup and nail polish and had it all over us and her stuff. My Mom and Aunt came to get us and to give us heck but the nice person Doreen was she wouldn’t have anything of it. She wouldn’t let them give us heck and protected us. From what I was told and to young to remember she was a wonderful person and a good friend of my moms. I remember her face. I know how you all feel. My mom passed away from cancer almost 13 years after a 26 year fight. Just remember she is out of pain and looking over you all forever and ever. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. Just hoping Mr. Gibbs remembers us. I think of the Gibbs Family everytime I drive by that house. Thinking of you at this time. Our deepest condolences.
Gerry, Lynn, Sharon Mansveld and Families!! xoxo
