Sorry to hear of Elaine’s passing on Christmas Eve. Thoughts go out to all of her family, in particular Tanya & Bob, Stephanie & Tom, Nonnie & Don.
It is with much sadness we say goodbye to our dear friend Elaine. She was a special lady to us. She believed in Randy and trusted him and that lead to a 20 Year friendship. We were amazed by her travels and loved hearing of her world travels and deeds. Who knew “Itchy Feet ” were contagious, but we’re so thankful we caught it from her. Rest in Peace Elaine, we’ll miss you.
Tanya & Bob, Stephanie & Tom, Nonnie & Don: Passing on our deepest condolences & thoughts on the passing of your beloved Aunt Snue. She was dearly remembered by lots of trips to her house for a swim in the pool & snacks. Also looking at all her artifacts from her many trips was a highlight during the visit. With deepest sympathy, Angela, Martin & Tatianna
“Aunt Elaine” was my godmother and dearly loved by me. Our last visit we went out together for lunch. Aunt Elaine had a cold that day and I offered to go and bring lunch in but we had planned this several months earlier and she was counting on our luncheon out at her favourite restaurant. We had a lovely afternoon later at her home as a visit to one of the museums would have been a bit too much with her cold. Aunt Elaine was always there in my childhood being the best godmother ever. She and my mother, Helen Louise Pincombe, were best friends throughout their lives. Rest in Peace dear Aunt Elaine. Sorry that I can not be with you at this time but you will always be in my thoughts. Love from your Goddaughter Elizabeth Elaine (nee Blake).
My deepest condolences to Miss Marshall’s family and friends.
We crossed paths when I worked in medical records at the Cancer Clinic in the old Vic. My late father(George Yelland) had much more contact as he worked in the instrument shop there.
I remember Miss Marshall walking through the clinic in her starched uniform and hat, dealing in an efficient but caring way for all who were being treated. She was a very important presence.
My thoughts are with you,
Susan Kaye
We enjoyed traveling with Elaine through her photos. Our sympathy goes out to all the family on the loss of such a great lady.
