At Middlesex Terrace, Delaware on Saturday April 12, 2008. Betty (Heason) Newman formerly of Ridout St., London in her 89th year. Beloved wife of John Becher Newman. Dear mother of Stephen Newman and his wife Laura of London, Wendy Newman of Guelph and Mark Newman and his partner Claudia Fava of Verona, Italy. Dear sister of Marion Thompson and her husband Cliff of Nottingham, England. Loved grandmother of Matthew, Sarah, Mitchell and Nicholas Newman. Also survived by her cousins Jo Ward of State College, PA and Don and Barbara Paine of South Carolina. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street S., London (519-433-5184) on Tuesday April 15, 2008 after 2:00 p.m. where a memorial service will be conducted in the chapel on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Lin Albrecht officiating.
